The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the IT Security Manager in the Directors Office.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This position is for an IT Security Manager for DMAS.
This role is a high-impact senior leader responsible for establishing and executing the strategic vision for the organization's information security program.
Reporting directly to the agency's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO),this role serves as a trusted advisor to the agency CISO, leadership, and often acts as a proxy for the CISO in their absence.
This role provides hands-on leadership across governance, risk management, compliance, and, artificial intelligence (AI), security operations, data governance, and data privacy.
The business needs of the position have in-office requirements to include but are not limited to attending the in-person training and/or meetings and collaboration with DMAS stakeholders.

Considerable experience in Information Security or Information Management related roles.
Considerable experience managing Security/IM teams or programs.
Considerable experience in risk management and incident response.
Considerable experience with Network Security, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, and Security Architecture.
Considerable experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Considerable experience interpreting and applying federal, state laws/regulations.
Experience meeting deadlines.
Considerable experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Considerable experience with policy development, compliance and enforcement.
Considerable experience implementing security strategies in complex environments.
Considerable experience in project management methodologies.
Considerable experience with security audits.
