Job description

Patrol Division Managers 3 Uniformed Security Officers who oversee, schedule, and hold accountable 907 Tactical Security Group Armed and Unarmed Security Officers. Patrol Division Managers are trained in the use of non-lethal and lethal Use of Force depending on their security level and weapons certifications. Patrol Division Managers ensure that Security Guards/Officers are providing physical security as well as roving foot and/or vehicle patrols to regularly check Client property, and to deter and report crimes. Depending on the Client contract, Patrol Division Managers may lawfully assist officers and detain and arrest persons who commit crimes on Client property and work with local law enforcement in submitting reports and transferring custody of suspects who trespass or commit crimes while on Client property. Patrol Division Managers shall submit and review Daily SitReps, weekly Timesheets, weekly SitReps and Incident Reports as necessary. Patrol Division Managers report to either the Area Operations Manager or Chief Deputy of Operations.

Pay range is $60,000 to $65,000 annually DOE.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversees patrol officers for Anchorage area
  • Schedules shifts for officers
  • Resolves personnel conflicts and issues Performance Warnings and Reviews
  • Conducts hiring interviews with approval of HR and Operations
  • Conducts orientations with approval of HR and Operations
  • Submits daily SitReps and concerns to Operations Manager/Chief Deputy of Operations
  • Directly oversees the following positions: Patrol/Fleet Manager, Field Training Officer (FTO), ASPO Unit Supervisor FSO Supervisor
  • Implements and enforces security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Monitors budgets for security operations and expenses
  • Recruits, trains, and supervises security officers and guards
  • Attends meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plans and coordinates security operations for specific events
  • Coordinates staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Reviews reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigates and resolves issues
  • Creates reports for management on security status
  • Analyzes data to form proposals for improvements (i.e. implementation of new technology, staff changes, etc)
  • Through meetings, discussions and directives, ensures the Patrol Team understand the goals and objectives for each client location
  • Acts as the Incident Inquiry Official, conducts inquiries to establish the pertinent facts and circumstances surrounding incidents of security concern
  • Works extended hours and days when necessary to cover a shift
  • Gives direction to the Patrol team, overseeing that the team meets its daily SitReps, Patrol Timesheets, and incident reporting requirements
  • Passionately recruits individuals to join the team who can complete assigned tasks while upholding all of 907 Tactical Security Group’s culture and values
  • Builds and maintains positive business partnerships
  • May coordinate departmental training with Training Division Manager
  • Partners with Information Security Risk Management and/or HR to ensure compliance with policies and that risk is managed to accepted tolerances
  • Fosters innovation, creativity, collaboration, and professional growth of the 907 Tactical Security Group’s officers
  • Represents the organization as necessary at the local level
  • Completes Patrol Vehicle audits of assignment instructions to ensure compliance with standards
  • Establishes and maintains training plans and conducts quarterly training of the Company staff in cooperation with Training Division Manager and Operations
  • Maintains security standards and technologies according to Company policies
  • Collects and maintains security incident data for trend analysis and recommends corrective action
  • Leads realistic drills and exercises to gauge effectiveness of security operations
  • Continuously evaluates staffing levels in accordance with business demand, forecasts, and budgetary guidelines
  • Plans, develops, and directs staffing, supervision, training, and equitable treatment of all Security Team Members
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and completion of all investigations
  • Mentors and develops the Patrol Team according to 907 Tactical Security Group

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Clean background with no criminal convictions
  • Physical strength and fitness
  • Clean cut appearance and grooming standards required
  • Strict moral and ethical code of integrity and honesty
  • Minimum fiveyears prior experience as a Security Officer
  • Minimum oneyear prior experience as a Mobile Patrol Officer
  • Minimum twoyears prior supervisory experience
