Security Receptionist Job Summary

The Public Safety Security Receptionist provides general information and security surveillance for TidalHealth during visitor hours, including patient look up, security surveillance for assigned areas, and escorting visitors. This position will have direct contact with patients and visitors and will use a computer console to find information and to monitor video of the assigned area. The Public Safety Security Receptionist monitors and appropriately communicates Life Safety alarms from an identified and equipped office room. Life Safety alarm monitoring is a 24-hour monitoring system which includes the fire panel, the medical gas panel, the Hillrom Nurse Call panel, camera feeds, and any other associated Life Safety monitoring equipment.

Security Receptionist Job Requirements

Education

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.

Experience

  • One (1) year of customer service experience required.
  • Security/monitoring/surveillance experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Receptionist Benefits

  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
