Job description

Job Summary: Provides visitor control, access management, and physical security support for the C5ISR Center's secure facilities. Verifies visitor clearances and credentials, issues badges, conducts security screening, maintains security records, and ensures compliance with established security policies and procedures to protect personnel, facilities, and classified information. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Monitor the APG C5ISR Campus to maintain security.  
* Enter visitor information IAW site policy to computerized government database and monitor.
* Maintain Government-furnished computerized visitor databases to include Security Management Systems (SMS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or follow on system, Command Reporting Operations Support. System (CROSS), hardcopy clearance records and visit authorization files. 
* Issue, account, and take inventory of appropriate badges according to site policy. 
* Inspect hand-carried items (backpacks, purses, etc.) following the site SOP and ensure no prohibited items are introduced into the facility. 
* Verify property controls as directed. Enforce all procedures as defined in the Restricted Area Lobby Security SOP. Monitor all on-site personnel for compliance to security policies and regulations
* Certify clearances are correctly sent for meetings and coordinate with POCs when there are errors.
* Ensure visitors properly sign-in/out and escorted as needed.  Verify visitor clearances/gate access forms
* Ensure visitors and staff are scanned (metal detector) before entry to SCIF following site SOP. 
* Maintain daily log of activities. 
* Monitor, track and scan all property and equipment entering a Restricted Area ensuring proper equipment inventory forms are completed and filed. This may include scanning media for malicious software. 
* Coordinate the issuance and update of property passes with the security manager. 
* Oversee Foreign Visitor coordination, ensuring proper clearance is obtained prior to visit. 
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.   Minimum Requirements/Education: * High-School Diploma or GED.
* 1 - 3 years of experience as a Security Specialist for a Government entity.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, etc.
* Previous Experience with government databases preferred.
Security Requirement: * TS/SCI clearance required or hold TS if eligible for SCI.
