Lockheed Martin's, Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance invite you to step up to one of today's most rewarding challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near peer adversaries.
The Work:
This position is located in Hanover, MD. As the Security Manager /Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)/Facility Security Officer at Lockheed Martin, you'll safeguard the Sensitive Compartmented Information and warfighting capabilities our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and global interests. Here, you'll work alongside other security experts, government civilians and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on all your experience and education as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities and intelligence protected.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day site security operations including but not limited to:
-Performing as the lead Security Manager over a team of 7 Security professionals working multiple contracts.
-Acting in the capacity of a Contractor Special Security Officer and Facility Security Officer.
-Manage Security functions, organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork to remain Inspection Ready and compliant with USG regulations.
- Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel. - Administering the SCI Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SCI Nomination packages.
- Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the programs; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
- Classified document & media control to include maintenance logs of tracking documents in transition.

In support of our customers, stakeholders, and team members providing all aspects of security support services such as, Security Management, Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and must have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM, DOD 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD 705 and others) and DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals.
