What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry requirements, and communicate post orders, facility rules, and restricted area guidelines in a professional manner.
  • Support daily operations by observing site conditions, reporting hazards, equipment issues, and/or unusual behavior, and assisting with incident response in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
