Pay Rate: $23.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, loitering, theft-related concerns, and/or access issues, then report observations and take appropriate action within site guidelines.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by assisting with access control, monitoring alarm or camera activity when assigned, and providing visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
