Unarmed Security Guard

Please note, applicants must hold a valid, active Washington State security guard license (through Washington's DOL) at the time of application. Information on the status of your guard card can be found on the DOL website under: license-lookup.

Candidates with a canceled license are not eligible for immediate placement and must complete the full initial licensing course through a state-approved third-party trainer prior to consideration.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be minimum 18 years of age to be qualified to possess a security license.
  • Possessing a Washington DOL Unarmed Security license is required.
  • Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Prior security, law enforcement, military, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required.
