About the Role:
The Flex Security Officer secures personnel and assets across an array of client locations. This role serves as an active deterrent to criminal behavior, enforces client policies on site, and identifies and reports potential safety risks as they develop. As a Flex Officer, you are instrumental in maintaining safe, well-ordered environments while protecting everything clients value. This position also creates meaningful career advancement opportunities within TRIDENT by exposing you to a wide variety of sites and helping you develop leadership skills over time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard client properties and employees through regular patrols and a strong, visible security presence
  • Identify, deter, and document suspicious behavior, unsafe conditions, and criminal incidents
  • Maintain high visibility to reduce policy violations and preserve a secure, orderly environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage every client and visitor with professionalism
  • Address emergencies and critical situations with a calm, decisive, and effective response
  • Complete detailed incident reports and all required documentation accurately and on time
  • Utilize on-site security technology and two-way radio communication systems as required
  • Fulfill open-shift, emergency coverage, and specialized assignment needs across multiple client locations
  • Remain accessible by phone or computer and respond quickly to scheduling notifications and changes

Requirements:
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Previous experience in a security capacity is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Comfortable engaging professionally with people at all levels of an organization
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screen is required
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Reliable, flexible, and capable of working a variety of shift types
  • Able to stay composed and professional under challenging circumstances

Licensing & Driving Requirements:
  • All mandated state and local security licenses must be secured before the start date
  • A valid Driver's License is required (for any assignments involving driving)
  • A minimum of one year of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record is required
  • No major traffic infractions within the previous 36 months
  • No more than one minor infraction or at-fault accident within the prior 24 months
  • Personal auto insurance must remain current and satisfy company requirements

Availability Requirements:
  • Availability for multiple shifts per day, up to all 7 days of the week, is required
  • Schedules may shift based on operational needs and may be released on a weekly basis
  • Must be available for on-call duty with a 30-minute response window
