ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Security Program team is a critical component of Anduril's overall security posture, specifically tailored to the complex demands of our large-scale manufacturing sites. Our approach differs significantly from other security operations, requiring a specialized team of professionals with unique, on-the-ground expertise. Recognizing the distinct security challenges of high-production industrial environments, our specialized team brings unique expertise in areas such as advanced tech integrations, specialized risk mitigation and tailored security strategies needed to safeguard our people, assets & intellectual property, thereby enabling uninterrupted production vital for national security and innovation.

ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Security Site Lead to support daily execution of our comprehensive security operations across our large-scale manufacturing facility near Columbus, OH. Reporting to the Security Operations Manager of Manufacturing Security, this role is pivotal in ensuring the daily execution of tailored security procedures, directly addressing the unique, hands-on operational risks of this rapidly growing, high-production industrial site. In this role, you will oversee shift-level security, maintain physical security systems, and lead the immediate response to incidents during your hours of operation. Serving as the primary, real-time communication link to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, your leadership ensures seamless security continuity and high-standard operations that can scale alongside the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day security operations during your assigned shift. Ensure contracted guard post coverage, conduct regular, unannounced "spot checks" of security officers to ensure they are executing their duties in strict alignment with the company's policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Incident Response & Management: Lead the immediate response to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Conduct after-action reviews to all major incidents and events. Conduct preliminary investigations, document findings, and ensure timely escalation to appropriate Manufacturing Security Operations Leadership. Escalate process improvements for incident response protocols to minimize impact and downtime to manufacturing operations.
  • Emergency Services Liaison: Establish and maintain active relationships with local emergency services, including police, fire, and medical responders, to ensure coordinated incident management.
  • Real-Time Operations Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive daily shift log documenting all activities, incidents, visitor volumes, and operational anomalies. Provide detailed shift summaries to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, ensuring they are fully briefed on all activities and emerging trends during your hours of coverage. Support access control operations during peak shift changes, high-traffic hours, and visitor arrivals. Ensure the secure, efficient flow of personnel, vehicles, and contractors, adjusting guard positioning on the fly to prevent bottlenecks or security gaps. Enforce parking violations to ensure adherence to Parking Policy and pedestrian flow protocols.
  • Logistics & Shipping Security Oversight: Support secure shipping and receiving activities occurring during your shift. Support the enforcement of security protocols for the transportation of sensitive materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring supply chain integrity from an operational perspective.
  • Security Technology & Systems Management: Ensure the effective operation and monitoring of all physical security technologies, including, but not limited to CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems. Support alarm monitoring and response protocols, in conjunction with the on-premise Manufacturing Security Operations Center (MSOC).
  • Standard Operating Procedure Buildout: Collaborate with Manufacturing Security Operations Manager to build, implement and enforce physical security procedures and post orders aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • MSOC Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with the Strategic Security Services team and on-premise MSOC personnel to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing-specific security monitoring, threat intelligence, and incident reporting. Act as a key point of contact for operational security matters.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with site leadership, operations management, Facilities, HR, EHS, and other internal departments on a daily basis to address immediate security concerns and integrate security into operational workflows.
  • Resource Management: Assist with the checkout, return, and operational status of all security equipment (radios, keys, patrol vehicles, badges) used during your shift. Ensure all equipment is accounted for and report any damages or malfunctions directly to the Manufacturing Security Operations Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant certifications (e.g., ASIS certifications) strongly preferred or minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in security operations management, with a significant focus on large-scale manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environments.
  • Proven experience leading security teams, including direct supervision of security officers and/or contracted guard forces.
