Job Overview
Milestone Technologies is seeking a Security Systems Applications Specialist responsible for building and implementing security systems applications to ensure successful project completion and optimization for the client.
Responsibilities
• Supporting programming, commissioning, and driving new build projects to Security Go Live (SGL) and First Day of Business (FDOB)
• Coordinating with other teams to obtain network and Archibus information
• Building out, programming, and testing new build sites, expansions, and relocations
• Communicating internally with technology partners and Project Leads and externally with Integrator Field Teams
• Providing system support to Integrators in the field of Security technologies such as Access Control, Video Management systems, Intercoms, and key management
• Managing Integrator resources in the field, coordinating testing and commissioning of projects
• Supporting PC/Mac software and hardware for end-users via phone or email when needed
• Enforcing and following documented installation standards and New Builds processes
• Assisting in basic network troubleshooting as it relates to Security Systems and Technology
• Working with network administration and hardware technicians
• Maintaining and patching applications
• Collaborating with trusted partners, vendors, and other teams and levels of leadership
• Defining core security policies and documentation procedures
• Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Continually seeking opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Managing client expectations effectively
• Collaborating with vendors, including opening work orders for hardware malfunctions
• Working with other teams to address system outages or maintenance
Skills
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
• A minimum of four years of experience within Security Systems and Technology, including proficiency with Software House/CCure supported hardware such as iStar panels, REX, card readers, locks, and door contacts
• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, as most Security Systems and Technology applications are Windows-dependent
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work through complex problems using a process of elimination
• Understanding of basic security standards and practices in security design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook client (Windows, Mac) and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience resolving complex problems and assisting users with advanced functionality
• Proficiency in the process for Final Test and Acceptance of security systems and handover
• Task management and administration discipline

Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $60,000/Yr. - USD $90,000/Yr. This is an exempt role.
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
