Job description

A highly regarded Orange County law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to support trial attorneys. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys handling sophisticated litigation matters and provides exposure to trial and appellate proceedings in California state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys
  • Prepare, format, proofread, and revise legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage court filings in California state, federal, and appellate courts
  • Coordinate calendars, deadlines, travel arrangements, and client communications
  • Assist with client billing, expense reports, and administrative projects
  • Maintain electronic and physical case files using document management systems
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of recent litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm setting
  • Strong experience with California state, federal, and appellate court filings
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Experience with iManage or similar document management systems preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
