Infrastructure Engineering Manager - Top Video Game Studio

Infrastructure Engineering Manager - Top Video Game Studio in Austin TX
We are a well-established game publisher and developer looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our infrastructure and CI/CD team. We ship titles across all major platforms and our games reach players worldwide. We are a collaborative, creativity-driven studio that takes quality seriously across every platform we release on.
About the Role
You will lead and mentor a team responsible for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure spanning cloud and on-premises environments across globally distributed teams. This is a hands-on management role - you will split time between leading the team and doing real IC work including coding and technical problem-solving. You will own the technical roadmap for build, release, and infrastructure systems while driving optimization across the pipeline to reduce build times and costs.
What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in software engineering or DevOps
  • 3+ years of engineering management experienceย 
  • Experience within the video game environment
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity and cloud platforms including AWS
  • Strong scripting skills across Python, Bash, or similar languages with a track record of automating large-scale software builds
  • Experience with Perforce and access control systems in a distributed engineering environment
  • Familiarity with first-party platform submission processes and guidelines across major console platforms
  • Game DevOps background is a strong plus -ย 
  • Unreal Engine Horde or Gauntlet experience is a significant differentiator
