What is a Seasonal Sales Representative?

A Seasonal Sales Representative is a temporary sales professional hired by companies to help meet increased demand during peak seasons, such as holidays or special events. Their main responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, restocking merchandise, and promoting products or services. Seasonal Sales Representatives play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience during busy periods and may work part-time or full-time for a limited duration. These roles are ideal for individuals seeking short-term employment with flexible hours. Strong communication and customer service skills are important for success in this position.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Seasonal Sales Representative, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Seasonal Sales Representative, you generally need strong customer service abilities, basic sales knowledge, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. These skills are crucial for maximizing sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and efficiently managing high-traffic periods during peak seasons.

Is it worth it to work a seasonal job?

A seasonal sales representative job can provide temporary income, work experience, and skill development in customer service and sales. However, it typically offers limited hours and benefits, so its overall value depends on individual financial needs and career goals.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

A Seasonal Sales Representative can potentially earn $4,000 a week through commissions and bonuses during peak seasons, especially in high-volume retail or specialty sales environments. Success depends on sales skills, product demand, and working hours, often requiring strong communication and customer service abilities.

Building strong communication with your team and seeking feedback from supervisors can also help you navigate the seasonal demands and make a positive impression for potential future opportunities.

A seasonal sales representative is a temporary employee who sells products or services during peak seasons, such as holidays or specific events. They often work in retail environments, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to handle high customer traffic within a limited time frame.

What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule for seasonal sales representatives typically refers to the expectation that employees work for at least three months to qualify for certain benefits or to establish eligibility for ongoing employment. It is also used to determine if a temporary position will become permanent or to assess performance during the initial period. Employers may set this timeframe to evaluate new hires before offering full-time roles or benefits.

Job description

Job Overview

Agentix LLC is hiring Entry-Level Seasonal Sales Representatives to support customer outreach, lead generation, and sales growth in San Antonio and surrounding areas. This is a part-time W-2 position for dependable, motivated people who want paid training, flexible seasonal work, and a real chance to build practical skills.

No prior sales experience is required. A college degree is not required. This role is a strong fit for applicants who are early in their work journey, exploring career options, attending school, working another part-time job, or looking for a way to build confidence, communication skills, and income.

Agentix provides training, scripts, coaching, and support. Sales Representatives will connect with potential residential and commercial customers, introduce approved service opportunities, identify customer needs, and help guide interested customers through the sales, lead generation, or appointment-setting process. Assigned campaigns may vary based on season, territory, customer demand, business needs, and approved company partnerships.

What You Will Do

• Speak with potential customers in a professional and respectful manner.

• Introduce approved service opportunities and explain basic benefits.

• Build rapport with customers and identify possible service needs.

• Follow a simple outreach, sales, or appointment-setting process.

• Track leads, customer conversations, follow-ups, and results.

• Participate in paid training, coaching, and performance check-ins.

• Work toward weekly goals with support from the Agentix team.

• Represent Agentix LLC with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Compensation and Schedule

Sales Representatives complete a required 20-hour paid training period at $10 per hour. After successful completion of training, Sales Representatives earn $15 per hour.

This is a part-time, seasonal W-2 position with a standard schedule of approximately 10 hours per week. Additional hours may be available for representatives who are dependable, coachable, and consistently meet performance expectations.

In addition to hourly pay, Sales Representatives are eligible for weekly performance bonuses based on campaign-specific goals. Goals may include completed sales, qualified leads, approved appointments, customer follow-ups, or other approved outcomes.

Weekly Bonus Opportunity

• Earn a $50 weekly bonus after reaching the first approved performance goal.

• Earn a $100 weekly bonus after reaching the higher weekly performance goal.

• Additional bonus opportunities may be available for top performers based on campaign needs and business results.

When weekly goals are met, representatives may increase their effective hourly earnings while gaining practical experience in sales, communication, customer outreach, and lead generation. High-performing representatives may also become eligible for additional hours, expanded campaign opportunities, and increased responsibility.

Who This Role Is Best For

This role is best for someone who wants a practical opportunity, not just another part-time job. It is a good fit for applicants who want to earn income, learn how to talk with customers, build confidence, and develop skills that can transfer into sales, business, customer service, marketing, entrepreneurship, management, or leadership.

You may be a strong fit if you enjoy talking to people, want to improve your communication skills, can stay positive after hearing no, are dependable, want part-time seasonal work with room to grow, are motivated by goals and coaching, and want experience that can strengthen your resume.

Qualifications

• No prior sales experience required.

• College degree not required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people.

• Dependable, coachable, and self-motivated.

• Able to work independently while following company expectations.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Willingness to learn scripts, service information, and customer engagement strategies.

• Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, athletics, student leadership, outreach, canvassing, appointment setting, or community work is helpful but not required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What Agentix LLC Offers

• W-2 hourly employment with paid 20-hour training.

• $15 per hour after training, plus weekly bonus opportunity.

• Part-time seasonal schedule with coaching, scripts, and sales support.

• Flexible opportunity for students, early-career workers, and applicants building work experience.

• Practical experience in customer outreach, lead generation, sales, appointment setting, and communication.

• Opportunity for additional hours and increased responsibility based on performance and reliability.
