Job Summary:
Seasonal Rework is responsible for inspecting and reprocessing food products that do not meet quality or packaging standards. This role supports production efficiency by minimizing waste and ensuring reworked products comply with company and customer specifications.
Pay: Starting at $15/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect finished food products for defects such as improper packaging, labeling errors, weight discrepancies, or visual quality issues.
  • Perform rework tasks including repackaging, relabeling, sorting, or reprocessing product in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensure all rework activities comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Document rework activities, including quantities, defect types, and corrective actions taken.
  • Segregate non-conforming materials and ensure proper labeling and tracking.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
