Service Sales Representative

U.S. Contract Sales | Flow Cytometry

Role Summary

The Service Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing service contract revenue within an assigned territory. This role serves as the primary account manager for service agreements tied to flow cytometry instrumentation, driving new contract acquisition, renewals, and incremental service opportunities. The position reports to the Senior Manager, U.S. Contract Sales and partners closely with Field Service, Commercial Sales, and crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets through disciplined territory execution, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.

  • Develop and execute a territory and account plan to grow contract attachment, renewals, and service revenue within the assigned geography.

  • Actively engage customers through outbound phone calls, email, and virtual or inperson meetings across relevant organizational levels.

  • Build deep knowledge of service offerings, including service contracts, support plans, time and materials services, training, and compliance solutions to uncover new revenue opportunities.

  • Manage contract opportunities through the full sales cycle, from qualification through negotiation and close.

  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM.

  • Leverage available data and insights to prioritize opportunities and focus efforts on the highest ROI activities.

  • Understand and communicate competitive dynamics, customer needs, and market trends within assigned accounts.

  • Collaborate effectively with Field Service, Commercial Sales, Marketing, and internal partners to support account strategies and customer satisfaction.

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives as assigned and complete required reporting and administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Prior sales experience required; preference for experience in service contract sales, account management, or aftermarket selling.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals through proactive opportunity development and disciplined execution.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills, including comfort with phonebased selling.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of personal accountability.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team connectivity.

  • Proficiency in standard business tools (CRM systems, Microsoft Office or similar).

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer meetings, sales events, and internal meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling service contracts, renewals, or recurring revenue solutions.

  • Familiarity with life sciences, diagnostics, biomedical instrumentation, or field service environments.

  • Strong competitive mindset with a demonstrated ability to win business from competitors.

Salary: $ 79,600.00 - 131,300.00 USD Annual plus incentives.
