Deer Park® plant is hiring Seasonal Production Technicians to help support increased customer demand during our annual busy season. This full-time seasonal role is perfect for anyone looking to earn extra income while gaining valuable production experience.

Position Overview: Seasonal Production Technician

Factory Location: High Springs, FL

Compensation: $22.00/hr

Shifts

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work holidays and weekends based on business needs


Responsibilities

  • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment including fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts.
  • Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output, and other key metrics.
  • Follow safe work practices and good manufacturing practices; participate in safe behavior observation programs.
  • Communicate effectively when issues arise that impact standard operating procedures.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics (efficiency, production, downtime).
  • Complete hourly quality checks.
  • Inspect raw materials against quality standards before loading.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to maximize output and efficiency.
  • Attend scheduled shift, team, and plant meetings.
  • Work with other technicians to measure and continuously improve line operations.
  • Cross-train in additional areas to support operations during downtimes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Execute all duties with a focus on safety, quality, and urgency.
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in clean manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to work the full shift schedule, including start-up and handover meetings.
  • Exposure to high-speed production and/or basic maintenance preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills (in-person and over the radio).
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office required, SAP experience a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred (training available).
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in changing or adverse environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and inclement weather.

Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
