Job description

Overview:

Have a summer of FUN!  Join our team to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all rides and attractions at Darien Lake.

Poistion begins at $20.00

Free admission to park and other Six Flags locations.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, erect, repair and troubleshoot rides and attractions to insure their safe and efficient operation with minimum supervision.
  • Track ride parts inventory and submit request supply needs.
  • Peform required maintenance to ensure rides are clean and in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
  • Maintain compliance and documentation to manufacturer specifications, park standards, and state regulations.
  • To inspect rides and attractions and notify the department leadership of any hazards that may endanger the general public of Darien Lake staff.
  • Operate within the policies and procedures of Darien Lake.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards in area of responsibility.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

Qualifications:
  • Possess the ability to work at heights.
  • Must possess own hand tools.
  • Must have basic mechanical knowledge to include; gear reduction, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
  • Perform assisgned tasks in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to read, understand and implement maintenance and inspection procedures.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid New York State Drivers License and successful completion of Darien Lake Vehicle Training program.
