Job description

About the Role

Rocky Mountain Paddleboard (RMP) is hiring friendly, reliable Concessions Team Members to support our Bear Creek Lake Park location for the summer season.

This is a simple, behind-the-counter service role where you’ll take guest orders, prepare basic food and beverages, and help create a positive experience for park visitors enjoying a day outside.

Think quick-service, casual, and fast-paced — all in a laid-back outdoor setting.

Our concessions stand serves guests spending time at the lake, so weekends can be busy and high-energy. We’re looking for team members who enjoy staying active, working with people, and keeping things running smoothly while maintaining a friendly, welcoming vibe.

At RMP, we operate with our S.T.O.K.E. values — Service, Teamwork, Ownership, Knowledge, and Energy. We’re looking for team members who bring a positive attitude, take pride in their work, and contribute to a strong team environment.

Schedule
  • Part-time: 15–20 hours per week

  • 5–6 hour shifts

  • Weekend availability preferred

  • No late nights

  • Holiday availability is a strong plus

  • Ideal for students or anyone looking for a fun seasonal summer job

What You’ll Do
  • Take guest orders using POS system

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions

  • Prepare simple food items such as hot dogs and basic snacks

  • Serve bottled and canned beverages

  • Follow opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand and work area

  • Restock products and supplies as needed

  • Help keep service moving during busy periods

All service is completed behind the counter — there is no table service.

What We’re Looking For
  • Friendly, positive, and guest-focused

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system (experience preferred but not required)

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

We’re looking for team members who are dependable, communicate clearly, and show up ready to contribute during busy summer weekends.

Bonus if you:

  • Have previous customer service or food service experience

  • Enjoy working in an outdoor, summer environment

  • Are looking for a consistent seasonal role

Physical Requirements
  • Standing for extended periods

  • Lifting up to 30 lbs

  • Repetitive food prep and cleaning tasks

  • Working in an outdoor environment

Compensation
  • Hourly wage (minimum wage) + Tips

  • Part-time seasonal role (15–20 hours per week)

  • May–September commitment

Why Work With Us
  • Beautiful Bear Creek Lake Park location

  • Easy, straightforward job responsibilities

  • High-energy summer environment

  • Supportive team atmosphere

  • Flexible part-time schedule

  • Great summer job for students
