Full-time

Job description

We are looking for a Sr. Merchandise Allocator. The perfect candidate will own and operate the flow of inventory
across Buck Mason's 50+ retail locations, ensuring the right product lands in the right store at the right time and
depth. This role is responsible for translating merchandising and planning strategies into precise, store-level
allocation decisions that drive sell-through, protect core in-stocks, and support the brand's continued retail
growth. The ideal candidate is both highly analytical and a hands-on operator who knows how to balance data-
driven rigor with merchandising instincts.
Responsibilities
  • Run the allocation, replenishment, and consolidation strategy across all of our retail locations, balancing
store capacity, regional demand, and sales trends through Domo, our allocation system
  • Monitor and maintain size-level in-stocks on our core program, ensuring every store stays above minimum
    levels, every week
  • Analyze store performance and selling trends at the store, style, and size level to identify risks and
opportunities, and act on them quickly
  • Manage store-to-store transfers and consolidations to maximize sell-through across the fleet
  • Lead inventory builds for new store openings, remodels, and special retail projects from concept through
    execution
  • Create and maintain allocation parameters, store grades, and min/max settings so the system scales with
    the business
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, distribution, and retail management to ensure
consistency from concept through customer experience
  • Contribute to seasonal hindsight and help refine allocation strategies as Buck Mason grow
Required Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in allocation, replenishment, or merchandise planning, preferably in apparel or
    specialty retail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with allocation or planning systems
  • Highly analytical with strong merchant instincts and a sharp eye for the story behind the numbers
  • Excellent communicator of inventory strategies, analysis, and recommendations across teams
  • Proven ability to manage inventory across multiple locations at scale
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent understanding of American vintage and contemporary apparel a plus
Here at Buck Mason, we're all about transparency and fairness, especially when it comes to compensation. While
the base salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000, your total compensation package may include bonuses
and other perks tailored to your role.
