BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -Front-End Developer to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
As a Front-End Developer will design and implement user interfaces for SAP BRIM and related enterprise systems, ensuring intuitive, responsive, and secure user experiences. This role focuses on SAP Fiori applications, UI5 development, and integration with SAP S/4HANA modules. The developer will collaborate with SAP BRIM SMEs and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Commonwealth standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Development
  • Design and develop SAP Fiori and UI5 applications for BRIM modules (SOM, CI).
  • Ensure responsive design and accessibility compliance across devices.
Integration & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with backend developers and SAP BRIM SMEs to integrate UI components with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Work with API and event driven architecture using SAP BTP for seamless integration.
Performance & Security
  • Optimize frontend performance for high volume transactional systems.
  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and Commonwealth IT security standards.
Testing & Documentation
  • Develop and execute functional test cases for UI components. Document features, user stories, and technical specifications in Microsoft ADO or JIRA.
Training & Support
  • Provide training and support for end users on SAP Fiori applications. Collaborate with trainers to develop user guides and training materials.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • Hands-on experience integrating UI with SAP BRIM and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SAPUI5 frameworks.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance standards (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2).
  • Experience with performance optimization for enterprise-scale applications.

PreferredSkills:
  • SAP BRIM certifications or Fiori/UI5 certifications highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP BTP for API management and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA for documentation and workflow.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for post go-live support.
  • Knowledge of hybrid Agile methodologies.
