Job description

Position Overview
Power your future with Qualus as a Remote Civil Structural Engineer. In this role, you will design and detail mat and pier type foundations for substation structures, ranging from simple equipment supports to overhead line towers. All work will be performed with emphasis on quality and project costs following client's requirements and internal company's quality control and quality assurance practices. Qualus offers competitive total compensation, such as salary and bonuses.
Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent from ABET accredited school required.
  • 5+ Years' experience designing and evaluating steel structures and concrete foundations for rigid bus systems and electrical equipment, ensuring structural integrity, stability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Experience designing structures for Transmission & Distribution Substations preferred.
  • Experience designing structures for Industrial & Commercial environments accepted.
