JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Creative Director plays a key role in shaping and elevating the Weissman brand across every customer touchpoint. This creative leader transforms big-picture vision into compelling campaigns, customer-facing storytelling, and actionable creative direction across catalog, web, email, photography, and marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional partners, this role helps bring seasonal concepts, launch strategies, and brand narratives to life in a way that is visually impactful, strategically aligned, and unmistakably Weissman.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative and concept-driven creative professional who thrives in fast-paced retail or brand environments. The ideal candidate combines strong visual storytelling instincts with the ability to lead projects, mentor creative talent, and execute high-priority work with both strategic thinking and hands-on creativity. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Translate creative strategy into clear themes, messaging, and actionable creative direction across projects and campaigns
  • Partner closely with the Creative Director to execute seasonal stories, launches, and multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Lead concept development and execution across catalog, web, email, photography, and supporting marketing assets
  • Help shape customer-facing storytelling and ensure consistency in messaging and visual presentation across channels
  • Provide direction, coaching, and development to Senior Art Directors, Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Copywriters
  • Oversee creative workflow direction and help prioritize resources across competing initiatives
  • Ensure creative work aligns with brand standards, business priorities, and approved strategic direction
  • Review layouts, presentations, concepts, and final deliverables for quality, consistency, and readiness
  • Deliver thoughtful and strategic feedback that strengthens both creative execution and message clarity
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with merchandising, studio, marketing, and production teams

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and portfolio strength may be considered

Experience:
  • 7 to 9 years of progressive creative experience within retail, apparel, brand, or agency environments
  • Experience leading campaigns, launches, or multi-channel creative initiatives
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary creative teams in collaborative, fast-paced environments
  • Strong background in both print and digital creative development, including catalog, e-commerce, email, social, packaging, or related marketing channels
  • Experience building strong partnerships across creative, merchandising, marketing, studio, and production teams preferred

Knowledge, Skills + Abilities:
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable creative direction
  • Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, campaign structure, and customer-facing messaging
  • Ability to balance hands-on creative execution with project leadership and team development
  • Strong coaching, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Strong project management, prioritization, and decision-making abilities
  • Professional business acumen with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and creative workflow tools
