Job description

Would you like to learn a trade in the construction industry? Driesenga & Associates currently has open positions for Construction Materials Testing Technicians in all of our Michigan offices.
No experience necessary! We will provide you paid on-the-job training with opportunities to grow! Candidates can expect competitive wages up to $20+/hour upon hire - continued growth within the company and compensation will be based upon personal performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel to and work on various types of field construction sites (commercial, medical, industrial, institutional, roads & bridges)
  • Perform field and lab testing for construction materials including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt
  • Verify materials are being placed in accordance with project specifications
  • Communicate with field personnel to coordinate and plan on-site testing
  • Record and detail test results in field report format

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work in various outdoor field sites and weather conditions
