Job description

This position is part of our Extended Season, requiring availability from early May through the first week of January 2027. Applicants must be able to commit to working during this entire time frame.
This position is available for those ages 18+.
Job Description
This position is responsible for providing patient care in accordance with state, regional and local regulatory agencies, as well as Medical Director protocols and park policies.
Responsibilities
  • Follow all Kentucky Kingdom standards, including grooming, personal hygiene, and uniform requirements. A neat, clean, professional appearance is required at all times.
  • Ensure Health Services and Command Base buildings are kept clean and organized at all times. • Follow the Lost Persons SOP and monitor lost persons brought to Health Services.
  • Provide first aid per scope of care and document in SID (Safety Information Database).
  • Document patient information (e.g., vitals) on PCR per EMT direction.
  • Assist EMTs as requested.
  • Respond to medical incidents with proficiency within defined scope of care.
  • Maintain compliance with all HIPAA policies.
  • Promptly contact an EMT for any medical scenario that requires a scope of care beyond standard first aid.
  • Perform Command Base Operator position as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
  • Ability to function in uncommon and stressful situations.
  • Must hold current CPR/AED/Standard First Aid certification.
  • Participate in the park Drug Screening and Background Check program.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of, and perform in accordance with, Cart and Motor Vehicle Use program.
  • Current HIPAA Training Documentation must be on file
