Role Overview
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid technical and client-facing role responsible for architecting, customizing, and deploying Sinequa's enterprise AI search platform in complex customer environments.
Depending on your experience, you will either serve as a key contributor or a senior technical lead on strategic implementations-designing solutions, guiding clients through the integration process, and contributing to long-term success.
(Working hours for this role are aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST))
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Implementation
• Design, deploy, and customize secure, scalable search solutions tailored to client requirements
• Build and configure data ingestion pipelines, APIs, and backend integrations
• Implement AI-powered assistants, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering strategies
• Customize and extend the search platform UX and UI based on customer needs
Client Engagement & Enablement
• Act as a trusted technical advisor during all phases of the implementation lifecycle
• Present technical solutions to executive and stakeholder audiences
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and technical deep dives with client teams
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enablement
Collaboration & Leadership
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success to ensure high-impact delivery
• As a senior-level candidate, mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical best practices
• Participate in roadmap planning and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or customer-facing engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, or similar)
• 1+ year of frontend experience using Angular, TypeScript, or React
• Experience with REST APIs, backend integration, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, identity/security protocols, and Microsoft environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus Points
• Experience implementing enterprise search platforms
• Familiarity with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or RAG
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of machine learning, NLP, or knowledge graphs
• Experience in regulated industries or with data governance/compliance frameworks
