Position Summary:
This role is responsible for performing in-depth audits and implementing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices across existing/new E-commerce websites as well as delivering analytics and recommendations about future actions needed for SEO and general website maintenance. This role will also be responsible for interpreting customer behavioral analytics to help streamline the customer experience online as well as report back key metrics to various internal and external stakeholders.
Here's what you'll do:
SEO Implementation & Management
  • Perform keyword research and recommend on-page optimization based on business objectives for existing content.

  • Monitor, research and analyze SEO performance data to determine effectiveness of optimization implementations.

  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations on meta tags, headlines, body copy, URLs, etc.

  • Prepare various optimization related reports and analysis (schedule and/or ad hoc).

  • Assist management in tracking marketing initiatives and milestones to define and implement search marketing strategies and activities.

  • Maintain, trouble shoot, and resolve SEO technical issues (Orphan web pages, duplicate content, meta description issues, broken links, H1 tags, etc.)

  • Work in conjunction with the media team to ensure our organic presence compliments our paid presence and campaigns.

  • Work in conjunction with the brand and loyalty teams to ensure key brand pillars and differentiators are represented in our organic strategy.

Website Management
  • Assisting with E-Commerce websites and applications to meet and deliver established E-Commerce sales and profitability through merchandising plans and E-Commerce processes.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external customers (i.e. vendors, merchants, etc.) to implement and support the Company's E-Commerce initiatives; identify and recommend process improvements to appropriate business partners to grow online sales and improve the E-Commerce presence.

  • Assist with creation and execution of customer programs and events.

  • Practice best in class customer service and support.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

AI Analysis & Recommendations
  • Research and execute best practices related to AI trends.

  • Build and support a best-in-class SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) experience for online customers.

  • Utilize AI to assist with task streamlining/content creation (as appropriate).

Additional Responsibilities
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned or as the business needs evolve.

Here's what you'll need:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree (Required) in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or other related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Experience
  • 2-4(+) years experience with SEO/GEO campaign management software (i.e. BrightEdge, SEMRush, MOZ, etc.)

  • Knowledge of the search engine ranking criteria of the leading algorithms, organic search trends, and HTML, CSS and JavaScript development as they relate to SEO.

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and analytical skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology/systems.

  • Self-starter that can take project details and work with other teams to accomplish goals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Potential to work some off-hours for emergency situations.

Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, up to 15% depending on business needs.
