Job Description

As an SEO Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the team, helping drive key initiatives across integrated search strategies that span traditional SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to position clients for visibility across both search engines and AI answer engines. Working closely with a key client partner, you'll help translate business objectives into actionable recommendations across content, technical, and AI search visibility initiatives, support program execution, and contribute data-driven insights that drive performance. You'll collaborate shoulder to shoulder with smart minds across strategy, content, analytics, and technical teams to identify growth opportunities, contribute thought leadership, support new business initiatives, and deliver high-quality, impactful work that helps clients win as discovery shifts from search engines to AI-driven answers.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees the development and execution of content and technical SEO strategies, tactics and deliverables; may include developing and performing detailed site audits to identify issues and ensure site is properly optimized for search engine and AI visibility, editing documentation delivered internally or externally by the SEO department and maintaining internal technical/content resources such as checklists and style guides, and/or crafting keyword lists & reports. 

  • Serves as client point-of-contact for day-to-day SEO programs.  

  • Understands clients' overarching marketing objectives, how digital fits/complements their goals. 

  • Presents strategy/technical/content findings to clients; prepares routine/ad-hoc reports for clients and internal teams.  

  • Responsible for measuring results and creating actionable insights and recommendations based on data. 

  • Collaborate with team leaders, monitor quality, accuracy and timelinessof team communications and deliverables, produce ongoing thought capital.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on commerce & content 

  • Understands how to adapt SEO findings for AI platforms 

  • Familiarity with large scale websites (+20M pages) and ability to diagnose issues related to traffic/indexation 

  • Ability to prioritize recommendations into projects and roadmaps. Has demonstrated proficiency presenting SEO strategies to mid- and senior-level clients in a confident manner.  

  • Strong knowledge of SEO/GEO tools such as SEMRush, Conductor, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Botify, Profound, Google Search Console, etc. Developed the ability to field the questions/offer advice regarding developing SEO content/content strategies.  

  • Has shown the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; has exceptional verbal/written communication skills.

 Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $102,700.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
