We are searching for a Senior Brand Manager, Retail Marketing, to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Responsibilities

Your Role: 

As the Senior Brand Manager, Retail Marketing, you will lead retail marketing strategy and execution, acting as a strategic brand and business owner across Walmart, Amazon, and other key retail partnerships, and taking ownership of a group of retail media partner relationships.  You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, providing strategic leadership across retail media networks while collaborating closely with Brand, Sales, Finance, and agency partners.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development, execution, and optimization of retail media network strategies, as well as acting as the dedicated lead for select retail media partners.
  • Own annual retail marketing plans, including strategic objectives, investment levels, KPIs, and performance measurement.
  • Drive business growth by translating brand strategies into highimpact omnichannel retail marketing objectives
  • Partner with Brand teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and activation across channels and retailers.
  • Analyze performance data, consumer insights, and retailer trends to identify opportunities, recommend optimizations, and inform future strategies.
  • Manage and optimize retail marketing spend to maximize ROI and achieve volume, profit, and market share objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic thought leader on retail media networks, emerging capabilities, and best practices, sharing insights across crossfunctional teams.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Sales, Finance, Digital Content, and agency partners to deliver integrated omnichannel plans and strong business results.
  • Prepare and present retail marketing business updates, strategic recommendations, and performance readouts to senior leadership.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams for key initiatives, ensuring alignment, accountability, and ontime delivery.

Ultimately, this role represents a unique opportunity to provide leadership on the highgrowth retail marketing team, with meaningful influence over strategy, investment, and performance within this critical channel. Operating as an internal startup, the Retail Marketing team partners across the organization to accelerate growth and unlock value across our portfolio of iconic Reynolds and Hefty household essentials brands.

 Qualifications

We need you to have: 

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing management or CPG brand management with a passion for the digital landscape
  • Experience with digital advertising, SEO, SEM, and programmatic media planning, execution, optimization, and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading retail media and/or shopper marketing strategies.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience using data to drive decisions and performance.
  • Solid business acumen, with experience managing budgets and delivering against business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Icing on the cake: 

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience working directly with major retail media networks, specifically Walmart Connect and Amazon Marketing Services
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing Mixed Marketing Analysis (MMA or MMM) results and delivering strategic recommendations based on the results.
