Orthodontic Referral Coordinator & Marketing Specialist (Virginia)

Overview

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Orthodontic Referral Coordinator & Marketing Specialist to grow and strengthen our practice through exceptional referring doctor relationships, community outreach, social media engagement, and digital marketing initiatives.

This role combines in-person dental marketing with online brand management and patient acquisition strategies to support continued practice growth.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, creative, and comfortable building professional relationships while managing social media, content creation, and local marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager and Operations teams to identify demographics, brand-specific messaging, and competitive positioning for advertising, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring dentists, specialists, and their office teams through regular visits and communication.
  • Develop and execute branding initiatives that promote and position our orthodontic offices within their communities.
  • Coordinate advertising efforts, including print, television, radio, outdoor, digital, and other marketing channels as needed.
  • Write and edit advertising copy while collaborating with external marketing agencies to manage projects from concept through completion.
  • Grow the practice's online presence through website updates, original content creation, online reputation management, social media engagement, and local SEO initiatives.
  • Create engaging marketing content, including graphics, photography, and videos for social media and digital platforms.
  • Order promotional materials, coordinate community events and sponsorships, and support new patient acquisition initiatives.
  • Create marketing plans, monitor campaign performance, track invoices, and measure return on investment (ROI).
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral for multiple markets while meeting established deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in orthodontics, dental marketing, healthcare marketing, or dental practice operations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable networking and independently visiting referring dental offices.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
