Quality Control Technician
Thomasville, GA l $12.00 / Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a lead distributing seafood warehouse that is committed to providing top quality packaged product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintain quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and conducting inspections throughout the warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
  • Set up machine for production run by installing safety guards, set code dates and have boxes/labels ready
  • Inspect equipment for safety to ensure all positions can be performed safely
  • Configure machine to product specifications
  • Operate, troubleshoot and make minor mechanical adjustments and repairs to equipment
  • Read production schedule
  • Adjust product weight, size and piece count throughout the day
  • Check and set up metal detector every two hours
Requirements
  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Work in a good seafood warehouse
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Stand for majority of the shift
  • Clean drug screen
  • Willing to undergo criminal background check
Location: Thomasville, Ga
Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday – Saturday 6:00 AM until everything is done, usually around 5:00 pm
