What is an SDR rep?

SDR reps, or Sales Development Representatives, are professionals responsible for identifying and qualifying potential sales leads for a company. They typically reach out to prospects through calls, emails, and social media to assess interest and set up meetings for the sales team. SDR reps focus on the early stages of the sales process, helping to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for account executives or sales managers to close. Their role is crucial in ensuring that sales teams spend time on high-potential leads and grow company revenue.

These abilities are vital for generating leads, building client relationships, and consistently meeting sales targets in a competitive environment.
