About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you serve as the first point of direct contact with prospective customers as they begin their buyer journey. You are responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers, building early relationships, and creating a strong pipeline for the Sales organization.
You work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure high-quality lead flow, accurate qualification, and a seamless transition into the sales process. Success in this role is measured by qualified meetings, pipeline contribution, and the quality of opportunities passed to Sales.
What does a great Senior Sales Development Representative do?
Customer identification & outbound activity
  • Proactively identify potential customers through research, outbound calling, social selling, and analysis of target accounts
  • Develop and execute targeted outbound activities across multiple channels (phone, email, social)
  • Actively seek out key contacts within qualified accounts to initiate meaningful conversations

Lead generation & qualification
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities by clearly articulating Radancy's solutions and value proposition
  • Qualify leads against predefined criteria to ensure strong handover to Sales
  • Partner with Marketing to convert marketing-qualified leads into sales-qualified opportunities

Communication & relationship building
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective customers

  • Maintain timely, relevant, and professional follow-up with prospects

Documentation & performance tracking
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities in the CRM system
  • Track outreach, lead quality, and pipeline contribution against defined targets
  • Consistently work toward weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual activity and pipeline goals

Collaboration & continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure qualified leads move seamlessly into the sales process
  • Share insights and feedback to improve outreach strategies and lead quality
  • Continuously develop product, market, and sales knowledge to improve effectiveness
