Job Description

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position $75,600- $102,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Position Location: Reston, VA (onsite) Telework/Work-from-Home Authorized: No About the Role: Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Provides all administrative support to SCS Senior and Divisional Leadership on a full range of administrative duties.
  • Screens incoming correspondence and determines appropriate actions;
  • Assists in composing non-technical correspondence to include endorsements, requests for data, briefings, rosters or reports;
  • Review outgoing correspondence and reports, ensuring proper formats and correct grammatical content are used, and ascertaining that all necessary coordination has been completed;
  • Assists SCS with travel procedures, to include coordination, creation and scheduling of travel orders in the Defense Travel System, and monitors and tracks official travel for assigned personnel;
  • Provides back-up support as needed, monitoring, organizing, responding, and distributing official (DARTs) and non-DARTs taskings in the event the Staff Operations Officer requires support, or is unable to perform against the requirement;
  • Follows records management instructions and guidelines to assist in maintenance, storage, and destruction of all types of records and correspondence;
  • Assists in filing/saving official records to the central filing system, shared folders, and SharePoint, and reviews documents for destruction or retirement
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a specialized administrative experience, preferably at an Executive and / or Senior level in Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC);
  • Experienced in the preparation and editing of correspondence, summaries, guidance and other documents;
  • Scheduling meetings and arranging travel;
  • Recent Certifications, or demonstrated Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) as well as experience with SharePoint;

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirements: Top Secret/SCI Clearance Other: with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph required US Citizenship Requirements: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
