Job description

Join Our Clinical Team as a Provider at Walden, a Pyramid Healthcare Organization!

Location: California Facility 44871 Saint Andrews Church Road & Charlotte Hall Facility 30007 Business Center Drive

Schedule: Full-time with rotating weekend commitments

Pay: $80,000 - $120,000 per year


Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

  • Conduct history and physical exams, review labs, monitor blood levels, manage sick calls, and prepare discharges (including physician orders and scripts if you have prescriptive authority).
  • Provide support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed.
  • Coordinate with the primary care physician when appropriate, with assistance from the nursing staff.
  • Work with nursing staff to ensure medications are cost-effective for clients post-discharge and complete prior authorization requests for medications.
  • Responsible for coordinating and completing the peer review process.
  • Collaborate with the psychiatrist for client medication and treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active medical license in Maryland (FNP, CRNP, PA, PMHNP, etc.).
  • One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct clinical training and work in the areas of substance use disorder treatment.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
