Job description

Description

We are looking for an experienced Screen Printer. This is not an entry level position. Experience with a Sakurai or Saturn is preferred.

The ideal candidates would be able to work Monday-Friday from 12pm-8pm. During training however, hours would be Monday-Friday 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm.

 As a Screen Printer, you'd be responsible for setting up and operating one or multiple of the following:

  •  Automatic Cylinder Screen Printing Press
  • Semi-Automatic Flatbed Screen Printing Press
  • Clamshell Screen Printing Press
  • Automatic Screen Printing on a Roll Press

Other qualifications include: being capable of solving printing problems, making print adjustments to maintain print quality, registration, color, and production speed.

 Essential Function

  •  Retrieves production order and job assignments for next job according to posted list or lead direction.
  • Logs into job setup and printing on computer.
  • Reads and understands order to verify quantity to be run, overrun tolerance, color sequence, and substrate.
  • Obtains substrate, screen, ink, squeegee, and related supplies needed to produce job.
  • Sets up press according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements.
  • Prints proof sheets to check press setup, registration, ink viscosity and color.
  • Secures second approval for production run.
