Job description

Barry Sports Information Assistant

This position is responsible for assisting the Barry Sports Information office staff in event score table activities during scheduled home games including score book/score sheet, scoreboard, and shot clock.

This is an In-Person position

Essential Functions

  • Assist with setup for athletic events, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, softball, and rowing.
  • Provide support during athletic events operating scoreboard, videoboard, assisting with internet broadcasts as well as other game day activities. This also includes statistics, a shot clock, scorebook.
  • Assist with tickets and concessions at various athletic-related events.
  • Support marketing and social media efforts for athletic-related events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Experienced operating digital equipment and score book/score sheet preferred.
