What is a Score Jail?

A 'Score Jail' refers to a situation, often in the context of gaming or competitive environments, where a player's score is stuck within a specific range due to system constraints or skill-based matchmaking. This can prevent advancement to higher ranks or levels, regardless of performance improvements. The term is most commonly used in discussions about online games, but can also apply to any system where progress is restricted by scoring algorithms. Understanding how to break out of a score jail often requires analysis of gameplay, strategy adjustments, or changes in matchmaking criteria.
