Job description

What you’ll do

As a Solution Architect for the Bandwidth Monetization Platform team, you will play a meaningful role in crafting the company’s telecom support systems architecture — spanning business, operational, and network domains. You will be responsible for defining scalable solutions for projects that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and support evolving business needs. Your role will involve defining end‑to‑end architectures for telecom platform initiatives and supporting the engineering teams implementing those architectures. Your first focus area will be the direct‑to‑device market, where you will design solutions for hybrid multi‑orbit satellite and cellular products and services. This role requires a proven technical background, technical leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with business partners and technology teams.

The day‑to‑day
  • Defining end‑to‑end solutions across telecom support domains, modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud‑native, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers and business partners to ensure that capabilities align with business needs.
  • Working closely with the engineering delivery teams implementing the solutions.
  • Monitoring industry trends and new technologies, recommending solutions that enhance telecom platform functionality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, data security, and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in telecom platform solution architecture and design, spanning business, operational, and network support domains.
  • Experience with integration to 4G and 5G mobile network cores enabling provisioning, service assurance and usage record collection.
  • Knowledge of industry standards including TM Forum ODA, MEF service and orchestration frameworks, GSMA, 3GPP, and O‑RAN 5G architectures.
  • Solid grasp of cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
  • Solid grasp of API standards and system integration patterns.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
What will help you on the job
  • Experience with ServiceNow SOMT, TSM or TSOM.
  • Experience with eSIM provisioning.
  • Good understanding of how to build with a domain driven approach.
  • Excellent partner management skills, with the ability to drive multi‑functional collaboration.
  • Experience with satellite telecommunications products and services.
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
Salary range

$180,500.00 - $285,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $224,500.00- $336,500.00/ annually
