What is the easiest medical job that pays well?

In healthcare, roles such as medical assistants or phlebotomists are often considered easier to enter and can offer competitive pay with minimal formal education or training. These positions typically require certification and involve routine tasks like patient interaction, specimen collection, and administrative duties. Salary varies by location and experience but can be a good entry point into the medical field.

What is an SCL Health job?

An SCL Health job refers to a position within SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that provides medical services across multiple states. Jobs range from clinical roles like nurses and doctors to administrative and support positions. Employees at SCL Health work in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, contributing to patient care and community wellness. The organization prioritizes compassionate care, innovation, and a mission-driven approach to healthcare.

Who owns SCL Health?

SCL Health is a nonprofit healthcare organization owned by its board of directors and governed by its mission to improve community health. It operates hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, and ownership is not held by a single individual or corporation. In 2022, SCL Health was acquired by Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health system based in Utah.

What is the average salary at Intermountain?

Intermountain Healthcare offers a range of healthcare roles, and the average salary varies by position. For example, registered nurses typically earn around $70,000 to $80,000 annually, while other clinical and administrative roles have different compensation levels based on experience and location.

What opportunities for career advancement are available when working at SCL Health?

SCL Health provides a variety of professional development resources and opportunities for growth, including tuition reimbursement, on-the-job training, and internal promotion programs. Employees can pursue advancement by taking on more specialized roles, leadership positions, or cross-functional assignments within the organization’s many departments and facilities. Team members are encouraged to collaborate and engage in continuous learning, often participating in mentorship or preceptor programs. This focus on career progression helps staff expand their skill sets and achieve long-term career goals within the healthcare system.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Scl Health position, and why are they important?

Because "SCL Health" is not a specific job title but rather a health system or employer, key skills and qualifications will depend on the specific healthcare role (such as Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant, or Administrative Coordinator) within the organization. Each role may require clinical certifications (e.g., RN license, CMA, administrative credentials), as well as proficiency in healthcare technology such as electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and teamwork are highly valued across all positions at SCL Health. These competencies are critical for delivering quality patient care, ensuring safety, and maintaining efficient healthcare operations within the organization.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

High-paying jobs that can reach $4,000 a week without a degree include roles such as commercial truck drivers, sales managers, real estate brokers, and certain skilled trades like electricians or plumbers. These positions often require specialized training, certifications, or experience but do not necessarily require a college degree.

Job description

Are you ready to practice big-city medicine and have a small-town feel? Are you ready to practice at the top of your game, to provide access to the best treatments to all of your patients? If we have your attention, read on.

You.

You bring your mind, body, heart, and spirit to your work as an Nephrology Physician.

You put your patients first, and are generous with your thoughts and voice because you know your opinion matters.

You love what you do, and value having the support, resources, and advanced technology to practice at the top of your game.

You are energized by the feeling that you belong to something bigger, the people around you aren't just colleagues, they feel like an extended family.

You're great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.

Us.

SCL Health Medical Group is a physician network that is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. With locations throughout Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, we offer a wide variety of primary and specialty care services.

St. Vincent Healthcare is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 286-bed level II trauma center has provided care in Montana and the surrounding area since 1898, and our 30-clinic network ensures community needs are met. We offer comprehensive, specialty care, including a "hospital within a hospital" specifically for children, and are proud to extend SCL Health's missions by treating the poor, the vulnerable, our community and each other.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage in addition to retirement savings plans.

As a Physician, you would be eligible for productivity upside earning potential and may be eligible for quality incentives based on your region and specialty. We also offer additional benefits including two times salary basic life insurance, approved time off, CME benefits, malpractice insurance coverage, and license reimbursement.

To show our commitment to you and to assist with your transition into our organization, we will also offer a $25,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan repayment when applicable. (The amount above is based off of a full-time status. Amounts will be readjusted based off of FTE.)

We.

Together, we'll improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.

We'll honor each other's dignity and surpass the standards we set.

We'll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.

Your day.

As an Nephrologist at SCL Health St. Vincent, you'll work collaboratively with 1 additional Nephrologist and a Nurse Practitioner to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with strong nursing support, and other specialties.

  • You would practice at SCL Health: St. Vincent in Billings, MT.
  • Position will include some travel to our DCI facilities.
  • You'll be joining an established group with a great team dynamic.
  • You will work alongside supportive colleagues and nursing staff.

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • American board certification/eligibility in required specialty.
  • Able to obtain a Montana medical license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

It's also a big plus if you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • A sense of team and patient care focused.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.

Your next move.

Now that you know more about being an Nephrology Physician at SCL Health: St. Vincent we hope you'll join us. At SCL Health you'll reaffirm every day how much you love this work, and why you were called to it in the first place.
