Location: Dayton, OH
Position Type: Full-time
Grade Level: Middle School Science & Writing Teacher (Grades 6-8)
School Year: 2026-2027
Mother Brunner Catholic School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-filled Middle School Science & Writing Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed educator, inspire students through engaging, hands-on science instruction while developing strong reading, writing, and communication skills across the curriculum. This educator will create a positive classroom environment that supports academic growth, critical thinking, collaboration, and the values of our Catholic school community.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Ohio teaching license
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Successful completion of BCI/FBI background checks
  • Completion of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's child protection requirements
  • Practicing Catholic preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Teach according to the Ohio Learning Standards and Archdiocese of Cincinnati Graded Course of Study
  • Plan and implement engaging, relevant, and differentiated instruction
  • Utilize research-based best practices and maintain strong classroom management
