Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Program Manager to assist in growing Tetra Tech's Texas environmental business. Candidate must be highly motivated and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel as needed, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications is a requirement.

Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:

    Develop/train staff to meet project needs
    Interact with commercial/industrial clients to identify needs, develop, and process solutions 
    Identify and develop new business opportunities
    Manage project tasks and financials, and lead junior staff during projects 
    Prepare and submit water related discharge permit applications
    Engage in diverse client projects that may involve multi-media knowledge including Air, Water, Waste, Hazardous Material Management, or Emergency             Response/Prevention
    Develop proposals including scope of work and budgetary estimates
    Provide environmental due diligence support on acquisition and divestiture activities
The position may require extensive outdoor work as well as extended overnight travel.  Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
    Minimum of 15 years of experience.  
    Applicant must possess excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
    Applicant must also be highly motivated, customer focused and work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Diverse work experience in remediation, due diligence, and environmental compliance projects in Oil and Gas, Renewable, and other industrial clients. 
 

Physical Requirements:
    Candidate must be able and available to travel via land and/or air.
    The ability to walk and stand for extended periods is essential.  
    Physical tasks include walking over uneven and vegetated terrain,
     Lifting (up to 50 pounds)
 

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
     Work will be split between the office and field.  
    Travel requirements may include day-long projects that do not require overnight stays to multi-day field projects that do require overnight stays.  
    Field work will be primarily outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions, can occur in remote locations, could include areas of uneven terrain, and may       require wearing FRC clothing.

    Applicants should possess excellent verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team         environment, as well as independently.  
    Applicant should possess advanced math skills.
    Computer Skills must include Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
