Position Title: Exercise Science and Sport Management Lab Operations Coordinator
Department: Exercise Science and Sport Management
Reports To: Dr. Jacob Parson, Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Director of SU Wellness Institute
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The EXSI Lab Operations Coordinator supports the daily functionality, organization, and communication of the Exercise Science lab. This role helps ensure the lab is well maintained, prepared for instructional use, and effectively promotes lab activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Lab preparation (set-up/tear-down for classes and activities)
  • Lab equipment upkeep & organization
  • Lab inventory management (tracking, restocking, reporting needs)
  • Lab social media & lab news updates
  • Assist with broader department operations (as needed)

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS
Note: Responsibilities may shift based on lab usage, course schedules, and special projects.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
