Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester


Purpose: The Campus Ambassador program is designed to enrich and support Mount St. Joseph University through various activities related to recruiting prospective students and welcoming special guests to the campus. Ambassadors provide information, acquaint prospective students and guests with the campus, and present the positive spirit of Mount St. Joseph University.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Give tours of campus
  • Group presentations/ panels
  • Greet all guests with a welcoming attitude
  • Encourage prospective students to choose Mount St. Joseph University as their university choice
  • Provide quality customer service and hospitality to prospective students and their parents
  • Enthusiastically represent Mount St. Joseph University and contribute to the success of the admissions team
  • When visiting different areas around campus give details and history to the guests. 
  • Answer any questions they may have

  • Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
  • Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and to deadlines

  • The ability to communicate sensitively and tactfully, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels within the University
