School Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) regularly work alongside teachers, special educators, counselors, and administrators to create effective communication plans for students. They participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, provide classroom strategies, and sometimes co-teach or model interventions for staff. This collaborative approach helps ensure that students receive consistent support across different settings and that their progress is tracked and adjusted as needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for SLPs to integrate their expertise within the broader educational team.
