We are seeking a dedicated and organized Swim School Program Manager to oversee the training and curriculum at our swim school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding and training staff, coordinating swim programs, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all students. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management, and a passion for aquatic education.
Position Overview

The Program Manager plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional swim lesson experience by supporting, developing, and leading our team of instructors. This role is responsible for upholding instructional quality and consistency, managing program operations, and ensuring our curriculum is delivered to standard. The ideal candidate is passionate about water safety education, thrives in a team environment, and leads by example through hands-on involvement.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding and training of new swim instructors, ensuring they are confident and prepared to deliver our curriculum.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to tenured team members to support continued growth.
  • Regularly observe classes to ensure instructional quality and adherence to curriculum standards; deliver actionable feedback to instructors.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to monitor and support curriculum delivery across all classes and levels.
  • Plan and lead in-service trainings to reinforce teaching techniques, safety protocols, and class management best practices.
  • Oversee and maintain accuracy within the skill tracking system, ensuring proper documentation of swimmer progress.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for members by providing guidance on class placement, program structure, and swimmer progression.
  • Regularly teach classes to stay connected to the program and provide leadership from the deck.
