Job description

Position: Operations Manager, Solutions4Good
Reports To: VP, Warehousing & Logistics & General Manager, Solutions4Good

Summary: Soles4Souls recently acquired Erren Recondition, a specialist in footwear and apparel reconditioning based in Arnhem, Netherlands. This acquisition expands Soles4Souls' ability to help brands and retailers extend product life through cleaning, refurbishment, and remediation services.
We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to lead operations related to this acquisition, oversee the launch of new capabilities at our Wadley, Alabama warehouse, and serve as the operational bridge between our U.S. and European teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as the operational lead for Solutions4Good in Wadley, including the launch of new capabilities such as mold remediation, cleaning, and refurbishment
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure projects are executed effectively, safely, and on schedule
• Coordinate timelines, manage priorities, allocate resources, and ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Partner closely with the Erren Recondition team in Europe, the Business Development team and donors on communication project planning, timelines, and operational execution
• Lead training and onboarding on the Erren operational model, including processes, quality standards, and project management approach
• Establish, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for U.S. operations
• Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Participate in organizational, team, and departmental meetings as assigned
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Warehouse & Logistics or the General Manager, Solutions4Good
Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities:
• A clear and confident communicator who provides strong direction and guidance
• Highly organized with excellent planning and prioritization skills
• Results-driven with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency
• Comfortable managing multiple timelines and resources simultaneously
• Calm and effective under pressure
• Hands-on, decisive, and willing to lead by example
• 5+ years of relevant operations, product, remediation and quality experience
• International or cross-border operations experience preferred
• Ability to travel for at least 2 weeks to onboard in Arnhem, Netherlands, and potentially more
• Ability to work onsite at the Wadley, AL warehouse for five days (hours of operation: 7-3:30 CT)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver's license required

• Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive tasks, such as data entry, for extended periods of time.
• Work Environment: Be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and be exposed to varying weather conditions if applicable.
