Job description

Basic Job Functions:
  • Follow and retrieve urgent spare parts from CMMS and warehousing systems.
  • Ensure work order data is inputted in CMMS on shiftly basis.
  • Deliver data needed to drive shift KPI's for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Monitor shift KPI's for technical group leads.
  • Maintain PM records and other pertinent data that is deemed necessary for future improvement(s).
  • Monitor return to stock, internal and external OSP process to include inputting information and working with shipping to ensure part movement through the system on a shiftly basis.
  • Maintain Line side spares cabinets and pull data ensuring groups are following system.
  • Help maintain maintenance areas (shop, SIHI and valve rebuild and spare parts staging areas).
  • Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Education/Experience:
  • Associate degree preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with PC knowledge and skill.
  • Data entry experience preferred but not required.
  • CMMS experience preferred but not required.

Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System software.
  • Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction, identify problems, and develop solutions in collaboration with others.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing spare parts movement between operations and warehousing organizations reducing downtime due to spare parts logistic and systems issues.
  • Maintaining line side spares cabinets on a shiftly basis increasing machine availability through part readiness/preparedness.
  • Responsible for inputting and ensuring accurate reporting of work order data driving accuracy in reporting.
  • Help organize and maintain OSP and spares areas giving visibility to parts rebuilds and spare part needs.
  • Help drive reporting accuracy down to the maintenance and engineering tech levels on shifts.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

  • This position will not have direct reports.

Travel:
  • Travel is not required.

Estimated Salary Range:
  • $17.84 - $25.00

US Physical Requirements:
  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Will climb stairs on a frequent basis.
  • Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction.
  • Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Will push or pull up to 27 pounds of force on an occasional basis.
  • Will push or pull up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis.
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis.
  • 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
  • May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to; steel toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses, hearing protection).
