East Moline School District #37 is accepting applications for bus monitors for the 2026-2027 school year.
Bus Monitors are part of the AFSCME Transportation Employees Collective Bargaining Group.
Salary:
Hourly rates are determined by the AFSCME Bus Monitor Salary Schedule.
For the 2026-2027 school year, starting salary is $15.78/hour.
Benefits:
Initial employment is for a four hour position, which does not qualify for health, dental, vision or life benefits. Contributions are made to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund on behalf of the employee.
Four hour positions can be combined with a playground supervision position in the district to become benefits eligible.
Six hour positions are awarded through a seniority-based bidding process outlined in the collective bargaining agreement, and are benefits eligible.
