Lead School Transportation Operations Across Multiple Locations HA Transportation is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee three school bus companies, with responsibility for day-to-day performance, safety, workforce management, and service delivery.This role is accountable for ensuring reliable, consistent transportation service while leading front-line teams and maintaining strong relationships with school district partners.The School Bus Director of Transportation will operate across multiple locations and play a key role in stabilizing and improving performance across all operations. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading daily operations across three (3) school bus companies Ensuring all routes are covered consistently with no service disruptions Managing driver workforce including staffing, scheduling, and performance Overseeing routing, dispatch, and contingency planning Driving safety and compliance across all operations Partnering with maintenance to ensure fleet readiness Serving as the primary operational contact for school district partners Managing performance, efficiency, and operational costs What We're Looking For Proven leader in school bus or logistics transportation Experience managing complex or multi-site operations Strong background in workforce management, scheduling, and service delivery Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Hands-on leadership style with a focus on execution and results Ability to effectively lead through challenging situations Qualifications 7+ years of relevant operations leadership experience School bus or transportation experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree preferred CDL preferred, not required Important to Know This is a full-time, on-site leadership position Early mornings and schedule flexibility are required Non-union environment Competitive compensation based on experience We offer an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance and a 401k saving plan with an employer match up-to 4.5%.
